L2/L3 Technical Support JAVA Engineer

JAVA PRODUCTION SUPPORT ENGINEER

Incident Management & Problem Resolution:

Provide expert L2/L3 support for critical production incidents, performing in-depth analysis, troubleshooting, and resolution of complex technical issues related to Java applications, MySQL/postgres/oracle databases, and Linux.

Investigate and diagnose root causes of incidents, implementing permanent fixes to prevent recurrence.

Collaborate with L1 support, development teams, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and effective resolution of issues.

Escalate unresolved issues to L3 support or relevant vendors as needed.

Develop and automate Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for L1, L2, and Dev teams to enhance monitoring, anomaly detection, and issue resolution.

Application & Infrastructure Support:

Support Java applications, including troubleshooting code-level issues and assisting with deployments.

Work with containerization technologies and platforms like ACP and OpenShift.

Continuous Improvement:

Participate in post-incident reviews and contribute to identifying areas for improvement in processes and systems.

Assist in the creation and maintenance of technical documentation, including SOPs, runbooks, and knowledge base articles.

Contribute to automation efforts for repetitive tasks and monitoring alerts.

Working Model & Shifts:

This role is not eligible for hybrid or work-from-home arrangements and requires full-time on-site presence.

The successful candidate must be able to support on a rotating shift basis, including:

Working Days: 6:00 AM - 3:00 PM, 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM, 11:30 AM - 8:30 PM, 2:00 PM - 11:00 PM

Other Shifts (potentially including weekends/public holidays): 4:20 PM - 1:30 AM, 9:30 PM - 6:00 AM, 4:30 AM - 1:30 PM, 6:00 AM - 3:00 PM
