L3 AI Automation Engineer | Claude Code, Vibe Coding & Workflow Automation

About the role

This is a Level 3 AI & Automation Engineer role combining Claude, software development, workflow automation, and strong business-facing skills. You'll work with MSPs and their end customers to identify opportunities for AI and automation, build practical solutions, deploy them into real-world environments, and serve as the senior escalation point when things get complex. You take projects from concept through prototype, production, documentation, and handoff.

Key responsibilities

• Use Claude Code as a primary development environment to rapidly build web applications, internal business tools, customer-facing applications, mobile applications, and Micro-SaaS solutions
• Build applications with authentication, databases, APIs, hosting, error handling, security, and supportability in mind
• Build with the Claude API, including AI agents, tool use, API integrations, MCP servers, and advanced prompting and AI workflows
• Establish development standards around repositories, technology stacks, deployment, documentation, security, and supportability
• Identify repetitive, manual, or error-prone processes and turn them into reliable automated workflows using platforms such as n8n, Zapier, Make, Rewst, and Microsoft Power Automate
• Determine which automation platform is appropriate for each business problem and integrate Claude and AI-driven capabilities into production workflows
• Troubleshoot complex or fragile automations, including workflows you did not originally build, and perform root-cause analysis and implement permanent fixes
• Lead Claude implementation and rollout projects, configure Claude environments around real business workflows, and support Claude Cowork, Projects, Skills, connectors, MCP servers, and scheduled tasks
• Conduct discovery sessions with customers and stakeholders, understand the actual business problem before recommending technology, and translate business requirements into practical AI, automation, or application solutions
• Conduct onboarding and enablement sessions, provide hands-on end-user support and troubleshooting, and coach users on effective prompting, workflows, and AI adoption

About you

• Demonstrable experience using Claude to build real solutions (GitHub repository, live application, working AI agent, automation, Micro-SaaS, demo or other verifiable project)
• Proven experience with Claude Code / vibe coding
• Experience taking AI-assisted applications from idea to finished, deployed, and supportable solutions
• Full-stack knowledge to complete an application across front end, back end, database, authentication, APIs/integrations, and deployment
• Strong hands-on experience building and supporting production automation workflows
• Experience troubleshooting automations that you did not originally build
• Hands-on experience with at least two of the following: n8n, Zapier, Make, Rewst, Microsoft Power Automate
• Strong understanding of AI-driven workflow design and automation
• Comfortable training and supporting non-technical end users
• Strong consultative and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and spoken English, ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities, and strong ownership mentality
