L3 Microsoft 365 Cloud Engineer | Intune, Entra ID & PowerShell

About the role

You will serve as a top-tier technical escalation point, leading complex Microsoft 365 environments, cloud migrations, security improvements, automation initiatives, and production troubleshooting. This is a Level 3 Microsoft 365 Cloud Engineer role supporting multiple enterprise and Managed Service Provider (MSP) clients in a global technology services environment.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a senior Level 3 escalation point for complex Microsoft 365, cloud infrastructure, and SaaS issues
• Troubleshoot challenging production issues from initial investigation through final resolution
• Perform root-cause analysis and implement permanent solutions rather than temporary fixes
• Design, implement, optimize, and support Microsoft 365 environments across Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Entra ID, Conditional Access, Microsoft Defender, and Microsoft Purview
• Lead and support complex migration initiatives including tenant-to-tenant migrations, Exchange Online migrations, OneDrive and SharePoint migrations, and server-to-cloud migrations
• Implement and maintain Microsoft 365 security baselines and best practices
• Develop and maintain PowerShell automation for Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune, and other administrative workflows
• Troubleshoot applications and platforms integrated with Microsoft 365
• Lead cloud migration, optimization, and improvement projects
• Work directly with technical teams, MSP partners, business stakeholders, and end customers

About you

• Senior / L3-level experience supporting Microsoft 365 in production environments
• Strong hands-on expertise across the Microsoft 365 ecosystem
• Proven experience owning and resolving complex technical escalations end-to-end
• Hands-on experience leading tenant-to-tenant migrations
• Experience with server-to-cloud migrations, particularly file server to SharePoint/OneDrive
• Expert-level knowledge of Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Entra ID, Conditional Access, Microsoft Defender, Microsoft Purview, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, and Microsoft Teams
• Strong PowerShell scripting and automation skills
• Experience working within an MSP or multi-client environment is highly preferred
• Excellent written and spoken English
• Strong customer-facing and stakeholder communication skills
