SPRAY TECHNICIAN – LANDSCAPING MAINTENANCE

Casual to Full-Time | Western Suburbs Depot

Volley Recruit is seeking experienced Spray Technicians to join an established landscaping maintenance crew.

This is specifically a Spray Technician / Chemical Application role — we are looking for candidates with previous experience in chemical spraying, weed control and vegetation management, rather than general landscaping experience alone.

• Weed control and vegetation management
• Targeted chemical application across commercial and public areas
• Accurate chemical mixing and application in accordance with procedures
• Maintaining spray equipment and reporting any issues
• Completing required spray records and documentation

• Working safely around the public, crews and site environments
• Following strict WHS and chemical handling procedures

ABOUT YOU

We are specifically looking for an experienced Spray Technician / Chemical Applicator with:

• Proven experience in chemical spraying and weed control
• Current chemical accreditation / certification – e.g. ChemCert, AHCCHM307 or equivalent
• Previous experience in vegetation management, horticulture, grounds maintenance or similar
• White Card
• Current Driver's Licence
• Strong understanding of safe chemical handling and application
• Good attention to detail and accurate record keeping
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Physically fit and comfortable working on your feet
• Reliable, safety-focused and able to work as part of a crew

Please note: This is not a general landscaping labouring position. Previous chemical spraying / weed control experience and the relevant chemical qualification are highly desirable.
