Lab Accountant

Key Job Responsibilities:

• Position is responsible for coordinating with various Sections/Labs for maintaining inventory of material, generating Purchase Request (PR) based on MAC (Monthly Average Computation) as per the workload, tracking Pending /Partial delivery of material from Central Purchase Team.
• Position is responsible for acceptance or rejection of received materials as per defined Central Purchase Department SOP.
• Position is responsible for over/less stocking within the labs/cluster.
• Position is responsible to monitor and communicate with respective Section/Lab Head/CBH for short expiry of goods and their timely utilization.
• Generating GRNs and submission of Invoices to Central Accounts Department with related documents for payment process within the set timelines.
• Position is responsible for coordinating with all labs within the cluster for monthly stock verification and submission of data to Central Accounts Department.
• Have to control over all expenses of Labs.
• Revenue controlling & reconciliation.
• Handling petty cash expenses and record maintenance.
• Coordinating with Central Accounts Department for lab-wise cash reconciliation.
• Reconciling manpower attendance, leaves and OT hours of cluster labs/HLMs and sharing the same with HR.
• Taking care of new joiners’ joining formalities and maintaining employee’s TA & DA settlement.
• Position is responsible for liaisoning with concerned Government and other Authorities i.e. CMO Office, Pollution Department, Municipal Office, Fire Department, Labour Department, etc. and co-ordinate with Consultants.
• Preparation of monthly MIS report.
• Performing all activities in SAP & excel.
• Any other responsibility other than mentioned above that may be assigned by the Management from time to time.
