Lab Analyst

About the role

Conduct laboratory analysis on raw materials, semi-finished products, and finished goods in accordance with company standards. Perform physical and chemical testing including pH, viscosity, solid content, color shade, and fastness depending on product type.

Key responsibilities

• Perform physical and chemical testing (e.g. pH, viscosity, solid content, color shade, fastness, etc., depending on product type)
• Prepare and carry out sample trials, color matching, and formulation tests based on internal or customer requests
• Accurately record, document, and report laboratory test results
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety (HSE/K3) in the laboratory area
• Operate and perform basic maintenance on laboratory equipment (balances, stirrers, ovens, color measurement tools, etc.)
• Support Quality Control (QC) activities to ensure products meet specifications
• Coordinate with production, sales, and R&D teams regarding analysis results and trial outcomes
• Handle and store chemical materials in compliance with MSDS and company procedures
• Perform other laboratory-related tasks as assigned by the supervisor
