Lab Analyst

Job Summary

The Lab Analyst I is responsible for performing laboratory analyses, documenting results, preparing samples, and supporting day-to-day laboratory and R&D activities. This position works according to established procedures and specifications and requires accurate documentation, organization, and attention to detail.

This is an opportunity for someone with early-career laboratory experience to gain additional hands-on experience in a manufacturing laboratory environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform assigned laboratory analyses according to established procedures.
• Prepare samples and materials for laboratory testing.
• Accurately document test results and laboratory activities.
• Enter and maintain laboratory information and records.
• Support research and development activities as needed.
• Maintain laboratory supplies and inventory.
• Assist with general laboratory organization and upkeep.
• Follow established SOPs, safety procedures, and quality requirements.
• Utilize SAP and other systems as required for laboratory activities.
• Communicate testing information and results appropriately.
• Perform additional laboratory duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of laboratory experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in a Chemical or Biological Science, or qualifying associate-level education/laboratory experience as outlined for the position.
• Ability to follow written procedures and laboratory instructions accurately.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a laboratory and manufacturing environment.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Ability to organize work and manage multiple assigned tasks.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.

Pay: $22.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
