Lab Assistant – Language Lab

Key Responsibilities

• Assist faculty and students in conducting Language Lab sessions effectively.
• Operate and maintain language lab software, computers, headsets and audio-visual equipment.
• Provide technical support to faculty and students during lab sessions.
• Ensure all systems, software and equipment are functional and ready before each session.
• Assist students in using language learning software and digital resources.
• Maintain lab attendance, usage records, equipment registers and other documentation.
• Troubleshoot basic hardware, software, audio and network-related issues.
• Coordinate with the IT/Technical team for major technical problems and maintenance.
• Ensure proper discipline, cleanliness and safety within the language laboratory.
• Support faculty in preparing and managing digital learning materials and assessments.
• Monitor and report damaged or malfunctioning equipment.
• Perform other language lab-related duties assigned by the HOD / Department Coordinator.

Qualification

Diploma / B.Sc. / BCA / Any relevant qualification in Computer science

Experience

1–5 years in a Language Lab / Computer Lab / Educational Institution preferred.

Skills

• Basic computer and troubleshooting skills
• Knowledge of language lab software and audio-visual systems
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to assist students and faculty effectively
• Basic knowledge of MS Office and digital learning tools

LOCATION : PERUNGUDI,CHENNAI

IMMEDIATE JOINERS PREFERRED

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
