About the role
Lab Assistant role in the QAQC and Lab department at Dimal Asia Pacific Sdn. Bhd., reporting to the QAQC and Lab Manager. The position involves performing sampling, testing, measuring, recording, and analyzing of online production and incoming raw materials, with data analysis and result interpretation.
Key responsibilities
- Perform sampling, testing, measuring, recording, and analyzing of online production and incoming raw materials. Data analysis and result interpretation.
- Prepare raw materials for production.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laboratory space, including cleaning equipment and restocking supplies.
- Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment to ensure reliable and accurate testing outcomes.
- Ensure lab safety protocols are followed.
About you
- Diploma, Politeknik, or equivalent.
- Experience in a technical/laboratory role would be an advantage.
- Ability to follow established laboratory procedures and standard operating protocols (SOPs).
- Proficient in basic computer skills for data entry and record keeping.
