LAB Billing Executive

Requirements

As part of the current client workflow, the selected candidate will be responsible for communicating with provider offices regarding various laboratory billing-related queries, including:

• Clarifying diagnosis codes and resolving ICD-10-related issues.
• Addressing medical necessity concerns.
• Handling payer eligibility-related inquiries.
• Following up on missing, incomplete, or invalid diagnosis information.
• Coordinating documentation and laboratory order-related clarifications.
• Handling other laboratory billing inquiries that require input or clarification from provider offices.
• Following up with provider offices to ensure timely resolution of billing-related issues.

Required Qualifications

The ideal candidate should possess the following key competencies:

1. Strong Communication Skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with provider offices.
• Strong follow-up and coordination skills.

2. Laboratory Billing Knowledge

• Good understanding of laboratory billing workflows and processes.
• Working knowledge of ICD-10 diagnosis coding.
• Understanding of medical necessity requirements.
• Familiarity with payer eligibility and verification requirements.
• Ability to identify and discuss diagnosis-related billing issues with provider offices.
• Experience handling laboratory claims, billing inquiries, and follow-ups.
• Ability to review billing-related information and coordinate with provider offices to obtain the required clarification or documentation.

Experience:

• LAB Billing : 2 years (Preferred)
