Lab chemist

Job Summary:

The Lab Chemist is responsible for conducting laboratory tests, analyzing raw materials and finished products, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards. The role involves supporting production by providing timely and accurate test results and maintaining laboratory operations efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform raw material and finished feed sampling as per quality control procedures.
• Conduct testing and analysis of samples and record results accurately.
• Monitor moisture content and other parameters of finished feed as per schedule.
• Maintain and update laboratory records, reports, and documentation (daily, weekly, monthly).
• Ensure cleanliness and proper maintenance of laboratory equipment and workspace.
• Calibrate and troubleshoot lab equipment; report any malfunctions.
• Assist in inventory monitoring and ensure proper stock levels of lab materials.
• Prepare and submit inspection reports with recommendations for acceptance or rejection.
• Support quality control processes and ensure compliance with standards.
• Participate in sample preparation, labeling, and storage activities.
• Provide inputs for grain procurement and quality clearance when required.
• Guide production teams based on analytical results.

Skills & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry / Analytical Chemistry / related field
• Basic knowledge of laboratory testing methods and instruments
• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
• Understanding of quality control procedures
• Good communication and teamwork abilities

Pay: Up to ₹35,000.00 per month
