Lab Cleaner / Laboratory Support

Job Overview

We are looking for Lab Cleaners / Laboratory Support Staff to support the daily operations of a biotechnology laboratory.

This is primarily a cleaning and general laboratory support position. No specialised science or laboratory qualification is required, and training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain laboratory work areas, benches and equipment
• Maintain general cleanliness and housekeeping standards within the laboratory
• Prepare and arrange basic equipment and materials for laboratory use
• Assist with basic labelling and recording duties when required
• Assist with simple handling and movement of non-hazardous samples when required
• Follow established cleaning, hygiene and safety procedures
• Ensure assigned work areas are kept clean and ready for laboratory operations
• Perform other general laboratory support duties as assigned

Requirements

• No prior laboratory experience required; training will be provided
• Prior experience in cleaning, housekeeping, production, manufacturing or general support work will be advantageous
• Comfortable working in a laboratory environment
• Able to follow work instructions and established procedures
• Responsible, reliable and attentive to cleanliness
• Able to understand and communicate in basic English
• Willing to perform hands-on cleaning and housekeeping duties
