Lab Desktop Engineer

Seeking a Lab Desktop Engineer for a consulting position at a pharmaceutical client in Malvern, PA.

Job Summary:

• Perform desktop support for R&D laboratories

• Windows 11 migration from 7 and 10

• Interact with Scientists and Vendors to upgrade older operating systems to Windows 11 or 10 LTE

• Perform various computer, equipment, and software support tasks in a Research & Development laboratory environment

• Document incident resolution steps and create knowledge base articles

• Utilize ticketing systems such as JIRA and IRIS to update and complete tasks

• Utilize network monitoring tools to analyze traffic patterns and identify potential security threats

• Computer moves, adds and changes

• Configured and maintain firewalls, routers, and switches to support network segmentation initiatives

Qualifications:

• Well rounded desktop support background

• Experience supporting laboratory environments

• Pharmaceutical (or other regulated) industry experience

• Windows 11 migration experience

• Detail oriented

• Proficiency with MS Excel and MS Teams
