Lab Manager

About the role

Master Testing Services Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Lab Manager to lead and oversee the operations of our laboratory facility in Kuala Lumpur. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in ensuring the laboratory maintains the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily laboratory operations and manage all aspects of testing procedures to ensure accuracy and compliance with quality standards
• Lead, supervise and mentor laboratory technicians and support staff, including recruitment, training, performance management and professional development
• Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment, ensuring all instruments are functioning correctly and records are properly documented
• Liaise with clients and consultants, manage expectations and ensure customer satisfaction

What we're looking for

• Civil Engineering Degree or Equivalent

• Minimum 3 years of experience working in a laboratory environment, with at least 2-3 years in a supervisory or management role

• Strong knowledge of laboratory testing procedures.

• Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff

• Fluency in English and Malay is preferred
