INTRODUCTION:

We are looking for an experienced and technically skilled Lab Specialist to take ownership of the installation, configuration, validation, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and calibration of laboratory instruments and biomedical systems.

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with lab analyzers and medical equipment, excellent troubleshooting capabilities, and the ability to independently handle critical technical issues at customer sites and project locations across Rajasthan. The role also involves ensuring high standards of equipment uptime, adherence to NABH/NABL guidelines, and training lab technicians

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY & AUTHORITY

• Install, configure, and validate laboratory instruments and biomedical systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance (PM) and breakdown maintenance of lab analyzers and medical equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair biomedical devices such as biochemistry analyzers, hematology analyzers, centrifuges, electrolyte analyzers, microscopes, incubators, etc.
• Conduct calibration, performance verification, and routine quality checks of lab equipment.
• Maintain service records, documentation, and equipment history logs.
• Coordinate with OEMs/vendors for spare parts, AMC/CMC follow-ups, and escalations.
• Support lab operations by ensuring equipment uptime and minimizing downtime.
• Train lab technicians on proper equipment handling and care.
• Ensure adherence to NABH/NABL standards, safety guidelines, and biomedical waste protocols.
• Travel to various project locations in Rajasthan for service requirements.

PREFERRED EDUCATIONAL:

• Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics, or relevant technical field.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• 5–10 years of experience in biomedical service & maintenance, preferably in diagnostic labs or hospitals.
• Strong hands-on experience in installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, preventive and corrective maintenance of lab analyzers and biomedical systems.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting laboratory equipment including biochemistry, hematology, and electrolyte analyzers.
• Good understanding of electrical, electronic, biomedical, and diagnostic technologies.
• Familiarity with lab systems from leading OEM vendors and adherence to quality and compliance standards

MANDATORY JOB SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:

• Strong troubleshooting skills in biomedical and laboratory equipment.
• Laboratory instruments / IVD / Diagnostic analyzer equipment knowledge.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
• Adaptability to different technologies and work environments.
• Good teamwork and collaboration skills.
• Excellent communication and customer-handling skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Office, and computer applications.
• Basic understanding of service data management, service records, and documentation.
• Strong ownership and accountability.
• Willingness to travel extensively across project locations in Rajasthan as required.

DESIRED JOB SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Multimodality lab equipment service skills preferred.
