Lab Supervisor

Lab Supervisor – Ready-Mix Concrete

We are seeking an experienced Lab Supervisor to join our Ready-Mix Concrete team. The ideal candidate will have 3–4 years of experience in a ready-mix concrete company, with strong knowledge of concrete testing, quality control procedures, mix designs, and laboratory operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily laboratory activities and quality control operations.
• Conduct and monitor testing of fresh and hardened concrete, aggregates, cement, and other materials.
• Ensure concrete production complies with approved mix designs, project specifications, and relevant standards.
• Monitor and control the quality of raw materials used in concrete production.
• Coordinate with the batching plant, production team, and site personnel to resolve quality-related issues.
• Maintain accurate laboratory test records, reports, and quality documentation.
• Assist in developing and adjusting concrete mix designs when required.
• Ensure proper calibration, maintenance, and operation of laboratory equipment.
• Supervise laboratory technicians and ensure testing procedures are properly followed.
• Investigate concrete quality issues, complaints, and non-conformance cases and recommend corrective actions.
• Ensure laboratory operations comply with company procedures and applicable quality standards.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Materials Engineering, or a related field.
• 3–4 years of experience as a Lab Supervisor, Lab Technician, or Quality Control professional in a Ready-Mix Concrete company.
• Strong knowledge of concrete, aggregates, mix designs, and laboratory testing procedures.
• Familiarity with relevant ASTM, BS/EN, or other applicable concrete testing standards.
• Experience in supervising laboratory staff and coordinating with production and site teams.
• Good reporting, documentation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage laboratory operations effectively.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED12,000.00 - AED13,000.00 per month
