Lab Supervisor (Klang Branch)

About the role

As the Lab Supervisor (Klang) at Gnosis Laboratories Group, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our laboratory facility in Klang, Selangor. This is a full-time position that requires on-site work at our state-of-the-art laboratory premises.

What you'll be doing

1. Supervising and coordinating the activities of the laboratory team to ensure efficient and accurate testing and analysis
2. Overseeing the implementation of safety protocols and quality control measures to maintain the highest standards of laboratory practice
3. Providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior laboratory staff to support their professional development
4. Monitoring inventory levels and procurement of laboratory supplies and equipment
5. Liaising with clients and external stakeholders to understand their requirements and deliver exceptional customer service
6. Contributing to the continuous improvement of laboratory processes and procedures
7. Preparing detailed reports and documentation to support the laboratory's operations

What we're looking for

1. Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a supervisory role within a laboratory or technical services environment
2. Degree in a recognize discipline, such as biomedical, microbiology, medical laboratory science
3. Strong technical skills and a deep understanding of laboratory practices, equipment, and quality assurance
4. Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills to troubleshoot issues and implement solutions
5. Proven ability to lead and motivate a team, fostering a collaborative and safety-conscious work culture
6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with clients and stakeholders
7. Proficient in data analysis, report writing, and the use of laboratory information management systems
