Lab Technician - Chemistry

Bachelors Degree/ Equivalent Diploma in relevant discipline with min 2 - 8 years of experience with not less than 50% of marks or its equivalent from a recognized University/ Institute.

• Prepare and arrange chemicals, reagents, glassware, and equipment for undergraduate and postgraduate laboratory sessions.
• Assist faculty during practical classes of Engineering, B.Sc., and M.Sc. Chemistry courses.
• Provide technical support to PhD scholars and research projects in the department.
• Operate and maintain analytical instruments such as UV Visible spectrophotometer, pH meter, Conductivity meter, Flame photometer, and other chemistry lab instruments.
• Ensure proper maintenance of laboratory records, stock registers, and logbooks.
• Uphold and enforce strict laboratory safety protocols, hygiene, and waste disposal procedures
• Support faculty in procurement of laboratory materials and upkeep of laboratory infrastructure.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
• Well-versed in safety standards and best practices in a laboratory environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
