Lab Technician

• Conduct analytical tests, including wet chemistry testing, reagent preparation, and sampling;
• Performs metallurgical testing, including but not limited to material preparation (mounting, cutting, grinding, polishing of samples) and microstructure assessment in the laboratory, in accordance with approved methods or customer requirements;
• Maintains cleanliness and organisation in the lab at all times;
• Ensure that test results and calculations are accurate before submitting them to the Chemist/Supervisor;
• Involve in audits (client and ISO) as needed and ensure that documents are audit-ready.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• ITE/Diploma in Materials Science or a related discipline;
• Willing to work 8-hour rotating shifts;
• Relevant experience in laboratory testing is an advantage. Training will be provided for suitable candidates without experience.
