The candidate should have sound knowledge of histological techniques, safe handling of laboratory equipment.

Good communication and organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities

• To ensure efficient, safe, and well-maintained laboratory operations for MBBS practical sessions.
• To keep the laboratory ready for practicals for MBBS Classes.
• To keep all Lab equipment & instruments in working order and clean.
• Collect, label, sort, and store clinical specimens correctly.
• Clean, calibrate, and maintain lab tools like microscopes etc.
• Record data accurately in computer systems.
• To maintain the record of equipments, chemicals, stationary, general stores and furniture etc.
• Follow strict safety rules to handle biohazard waste.
• Good grasp of medical safety, lab hygiene, and specimen handling protocols.

Term and Conditions

Candidates are required to attach scanned copies of their documents (Academics / Professional).

Last education certificate/degree must be attested/verified by HEC.

Candidates may be considered ineligible for the post due to any of the following reasons:

• 3rd Div in academic career / weak academic profile.

• NUST employees with less than one year of service with NUST and / or absence of NOC from Head of Institution.

• In process of pursuing a required degree.

• Medically unfit.

Candidates serving in Govt departments or Armed forces will be required to furnish a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their respective parent department / organization.

Late / incomplete applications will be ignored. Only short-listed candidates will be considered / called for test / interview and no TA / DA will be admissible.
