We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Lab Technician to perform laboratory tests, handle samples, maintain laboratory equipment, and ensure accurate and timely reporting of results.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, receive, label, and process laboratory samples according to standard procedures.
• Perform routine laboratory tests and examinations accurately.
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments.
• Prepare reagents, solutions, and other laboratory materials as required.
• Record test results and maintain accurate laboratory documentation.
• Follow laboratory SOPs, safety guidelines, and quality control procedures.
• Ensure proper storage and disposal of samples and laboratory waste.
• Perform routine equipment calibration and quality checks.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the laboratory.
• Report any abnormal results, equipment issues, or quality concerns to the supervisor.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient and laboratory information.

Qualifications

• Diploma / B.Sc. in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT / B.Sc. MLT) or equivalent qualification.
• Relevant laboratory experience is preferred.
• Good knowledge of laboratory procedures, sample handling, and safety practices.
• Basic computer knowledge and good documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
