Job Description Lab Technician (DMLT)

Position: Lab Technician
Qualification: DMLT (Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology)
Job Location: Devigarh, Patiala, Punjab
Employment Type: Full-Time

Job Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory tests and procedures accurately as per standard protocols.
• Collect, receive, label, and process patient/sample specimens.
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments.
• Conduct routine hematology, biochemistry, and other diagnostic tests as required.
• Maintain accurate laboratory records, reports, and documentation.
• Ensure proper handling, storage, and disposal of laboratory samples and materials.
• Follow laboratory safety, hygiene, and quality-control procedures.
• Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare staff regarding laboratory reports.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper functioning of the laboratory.
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies and applicable laboratory standards.

Required Skills

• DMLT qualification from a recognized institution.
• Good knowledge of laboratory procedures and diagnostic testing.
• Ability to handle laboratory equipment and samples safely.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Basic computer and documentation skills.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
