Job Title: Lab Technician Male Home Collection
Department: Laboratory
Location: MV center for Diabetes Koramangala
Duty Time: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Employment Type: Full-Time

Job Summary

We are looking for a qualified Lab Technician to perform laboratory sample collection from patients at their homes and support routine laboratory operations while maintaining proper safety and sample-handling procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Visit patients' homes and collect blood and other clinical samples as required.
• Perform venipuncture and sample collection safely and professionally.
• Ensure correct patient identification and proper labeling of samples.
• Handle, store and transport collected samples according to laboratory procedures.
• Maintain proper documentation of home collection visits and samples.
• Follow infection-control, biomedical waste and laboratory safety procedures.
• Coordinate with the laboratory team regarding sample processing and reporting.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper handling of collection equipment.
• Provide courteous and professional service to patients at their homes.

Eligibility

• DMLT / B.Sc. MLT / equivalent laboratory qualification.
• Previous experience in home sample collection is preferred.
• Good communication and patient-handling skills.
• Knowledge of basic laboratory procedures and sample handling.

Mandatory Requirement

• Two-wheeler is mandatory.
• Candidate should have a valid driving licence.
• Willingness to travel to patients' homes for sample collection.

Preferred Skills

• Good knowledge of blood collection and phlebotomy.
• Punctual and responsible.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple home-collection visits.
