ob Roles and Responsibilities

• Collect and process blood, urine, and other patient samples as per hospital protocols.
• Perform laboratory tests accurately and efficiently.
• Operate, clean, and maintain laboratory equipment.
• Ensure proper sample labeling, handling, storage, and disposal.
• Maintain laboratory registers, test reports, and patient records.
• Follow infection control, biomedical waste management, and safety protocols.
• Perform internal quality control and report equipment or test abnormalities.
• Ensure timely reporting of test results to authorized personnel.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laboratory.
• Check reagent stock, expiry dates, and laboratory consumables.
• Report critical test results promptly to the concerned doctor as per hospital policy.
• Follow hospital policies and NABH-related laboratory procedures.
