Lab Technician

About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented Lab Technician to join our team at Tagaddod s 6th of October site. The role involves collecting and handling samples, supporting chemists with laboratory activities, monitoring samples, and maintaining accurate records to support our oil purification and renewable energy operations.

\ Key Responsibilities

• Collect, label, and prepare samples from warehouse operations for laboratory testing.
• Support chemists in conducting laboratory tests and analyses under supervision.
• Monitor samples throughout the testing process and ensure proper handling and storage.
• Record test results, sample details, and other relevant information accurately.
• Maintain organized laboratory records and perform data entry.
• Follow laboratory safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
• Coordinate with warehouse and laboratory teams to ensure timely sample processing.

Desired Candidate Profile

• A degree in a related scientific field.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply; up to 2 years of relevant experience is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Basic computer skills and proficiency in data entry.
• Willingness to work rotational shifts and six days a week, from Saturday to Thursday.
• Ability to work on-site at our 6th of October warehouse.
