WE ARE HIRING – LAB TECHNICIAN (Microbiology / Serology / Molecular )

A reputed healthcare facility is seeking a qualified and dedicated Lab Technician to join our team.

Position: Lab Technician
Location: T.Nagar, Chennai-17
Employment Type: Full-Time
Experience: Minimum 1yrs and Above

Salary: Full time – 16000 k to 23000 K Negotiable

Duties Rotational Shift : (Morning, Evening, General)

Preferred: Local Candidates Immediate Joiner*

Key Responsibilities:

• perform routine microbiology, serology, and virology laboratory tests according to standard operating procedures.
• Process, prepare, and analyze patient specimens.
• Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment.
• Record, verify, and report test results accurately and promptly.
• Follow quality control and quality assurance protocols.
• Maintain laboratory documentation and inventory of reagents and consumables.
• Adhere to biosafety guidelines, infection control practices, and laboratory safety standards.
• Support laboratory accreditation and regulatory compliance activities.
• Collaborate effectively with pathologists, microbiologists, and other healthcare professionals.

Skills Required:

• Experience in culture techniques, microbial identification, and antimicrobial susceptibility testing.
• Knowledge of ELISA, rapid diagnostic tests, and molecular diagnostic techniques (PCR/RT-PCR) is an advantage.

Qualifications:

• M.sc / B.sc(MLT) or DMLT,
