Job Description

Shree Balaji Nursing Home is a multi-speciality healthcare facility committed to delivering accurate diagnostics and quality patient care. We are looking for an experienced Lab Technician who can efficiently handle laboratory operations, perform diagnostic tests, and maintain high standards of accuracy and safety.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine laboratory tests (blood, urine, and other samples)
• Collect, label, and process patient specimens accurately
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting of test results
• Maintain laboratory records and documentation
• Follow safety, hygiene, and infection control protocols
• Assist doctors in diagnostic procedures when required
• Ensure proper storage and handling of samples
• Monitor inventory of lab supplies and report shortages
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laboratory

Eligibility & Qualifications:

• DMLT / BMLT or relevant laboratory certification
• Certification from a recognized institution

Experience:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in hospital/diagnostic lab (mandatory)

Skills Required:

• Knowledge of laboratory procedures and equipment
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Sample handling and testing expertise
• Basic computer knowledge for reporting
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Understanding of infection control practices
