Lab Technician - Moradabad

To perform laboratory testing and related activities accurately and efficiently while ensuring compliance with established SOPs, quality standards, safety protocols, and turnaround times.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, identify, label, sort, and process samples as per established laboratory procedures.
• Perform assigned laboratory tests in accordance with approved SOPs.
• Operate, clean, and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment.
• Perform internal quality control (IQC) as per prescribed protocols and report deviations to the supervisor.
• Ensure accurate data entry and timely processing of results in the Laboratory Information System (LIS).
• Identify and escalate unsuitable samples, abnormal findings, testing errors, QC failures, and instrument breakdowns.
• Maintain records of testing, equipment maintenance, temperature monitoring, and other required documentation.
• Ensure proper handling, storage, and disposal of samples, reagents, and biomedical waste.
• Maintain adequate stock of reagents and consumables and report shortages promptly.
• Follow laboratory safety protocols, use appropriate PPE, and maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the work area.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth workflow and timely reporting.
• Participate in training, competency assessments, internal audits, and quality improvement activities as required.

Qualification: DMLT / BMLT or other relevant qualification appropriate to the assigned duties.

General Responsibilities

• Maintain confidentiality of patient information and laboratory records.
• Follow assigned duty schedules and departmental instructions.
• Maintain discipline, punctuality, and professional conduct.
• Perform other relevant duties assigned by the reporting manager within the scope of training, qualifications, and competency.

Pay: Up to ₹18,000.00 per month
