The Role

We are looking for people passionate about both success and the product to join our Extraction Team to support our production of top quality products. Being detail oriented, a team player, and good at communicating is a must on this team. A desire to analyze your own work under a microscope and make adjustments on the fly is a plus! This role requires consistent reliability and hard work.

Responsibilities

• Support the Extraction Team with maintaining input demand of Fresh Frozen Flower and processing into hash, cleaning Lab and equipment, and any other tasks needed during the development of the Extraction Department
• Communicate with support teams and management continuously regarding process changes required from task to task
• Escalate issues identified in rooms or in the facility to team members or management
• Timely completion of work per schedule and strive to increase productivity through coordinated workflow
• Keep documented logs and notes of specific task metrics for company records
• Maintain and clean Lab workspaces at all times by regularly sanitizing tools, equipment, and extraction rooms to ensure sanitary practices and to keep pests away
• Use PPE as required: gloves, lab coat, tinted eye protection
• Perform all other duties as necessary and any additional duties assigned by your supervisor/manager

Required Qualifications, Experience, and Skills

• Active and current Cannabis Cultivation Agent and Cannabis Production Agent card (mandatory)
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work well with a team or alone
• Be a reliable team player
• Positive attitude day in and day out
• Work effectively with minimal supervision
• Ability to work well under pressure
• Experience in an agricultural setting is a plus, but not required
• Marijuana product knowledge and passion is a plus, but not required
• Serve as role model for other employees and encourage adherence to safety practices, policies, and procedures
• Have strong service and quality focus. Address issues effectively when problems arise and take initiative to understand the root cause, then communicate / educate the team in a timely manner

Additional Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age or older to apply
• Must be able to work overtime as needed
• Must comply with all legal or company regulations for working in the industry

Physical Demands – Must be able to

• Work on your feet for 8-10 hours a day besides breaks and lunch
• Work in crouched or uncomfortable positions including repetitive motions for extended periods of time
• Lift and carry up to 50 lbs
• Regularly move up to 30 lbs
• Work time expectation: 80-90% of the time will be physical labor

Working Hours

• 6:00 am – 4:30 pm You will be assigned 4 days of 10 hour shifts. These will likely remain fixed, but you could be asked to shift from time to time, as the business requires
• Overtime is necessary from time to time, and when asked, it is required
