Lab Technician (QC) – Non-Executive

About the role

Perform routine quality control testing on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. Conduct laboratory tests according to approved procedures, specifications, and SOPs, ensuring all testing activities comply with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and laboratory safety requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine quality control (QC) testing on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products
• Conduct laboratory tests according to approved procedures, specifications, and SOPs
• Prepare laboratory reagents, solutions, and samples for testing
• Operate, clean, and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments
• Record test results accurately and maintain laboratory documentation
• Ensure all testing activities comply with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and laboratory safety requirements
• Assist in investigating out-of-specification (OOS) or abnormal test results
• Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping of the laboratory
• Ensure laboratory equipment is calibrated and properly maintained

About you

• Minimum Diploma in Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Applied Science, or a related field
• Basic laboratory testing and analytical skills
• Good attention to detail and ability to follow SOPs
• Willing to work in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment
