Label Management Intern

Carbon Fiber Music, Inc. home to Latin stars such as Farruko, is a music and entertainment company specialized in the international Latin market. The company provides various artist and label services, such as talent management, artist development, marketing, and music publishing.

This will be an internship for college credit.

Job Description: The Label Management Intern will assist the Label Manager with day-to-day operational tasks. We’re looking for an enthusiastic and hard-working student who is well versed in music publishing, copyright law, and current music business practices. TAll student candidates must be currently enrolled in a college, university, or technical school. Candidates should display strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as ingenuity, and an eagerness to learn.

Skill & Key Qualifications:

• Experience working with commercial teams across all formats, retail types, and platforms with relevance to the streaming economy and best practices
• Experience working with labels, artists, and management teams
• Assist with providing managerial guidance for the label management team on day to day operating issues and guiding best practices
• Work along with the internal Digital Marketing team to help prepare, plan, and manage marketing and media strategy campaigns
• Contribute to the release process and help ensure that all aspects of it are properly managed in a timely manner, including the distribution of relevant marketing and promotional assets, retail planning, etc.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in music business or relevant field
