Labor and Delivery Nurse

An Emergency Room Registered Nurse is responsible for providing comprehensive, high-quality nursing care to patients presenting with acute, urgent, and life‑threatening conditions in a fast‑paced emergency department. The role involves rapid assessment, triage, stabilization, treatment, and continuous monitoring of patients while working both independently and as part of an interdisciplinary healthcare team. The nurse collaborates closely with physicians and allied health professionals to support patient and family-centered care, applies evidence‑based practice, and demonstrates strong clinical judgment in high‑pressure situations. Responsibilities also include maintaining and advancing clinical competence, participating in quality improvement initiatives and committees as assigned, and working rotating shifts including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
