Laboratory Aide

• Performs daily routine activities to maintain the cleanliness, orderliness, and proper condition of the Quality Control Laboratory.
• Performs routine cleaning and housekeeping of laboratory work areas, equipment, glassware, and other laboratory facilities.
• Monitors and records laboratory temperature and relative humidity (RH) according to approved SOPs and schedules.
• Immediately reports temperature or RH readings that are outside the specified limits to the immediate supervisor.
• Performs routine calibration or verification of analytical balances and pH meters according to approved SOPs and schedules.
• Records calibration and verification results accurately in the appropriate logbooks or forms.
• Monitors the condition of silica gel and other desiccants used in laboratory equipment, cabinets, and storage areas.
• Replaces or regenerates desiccants when required and records the replacement according to approved procedures.
• Reports any calibration failure, abnormal reading, damaged equipment, or other unusual condition to the immediate supervisor.
• Receives, labels, records, and assists in the proper storage of samples submitted to the Quality Control Laboratory.
• Assists QC Analysts in the preparation of samples, reagents, glassware, and other materials needed for laboratory testing.
• Cleans and prepares laboratory glassware, utensils, and equipment according to approved procedures.
• Assists in maintaining adequate supplies of laboratory consumables and reports shortages to the immediate supervisor.
• Assists in the proper storage and organization of laboratory reagents, supplies, and materials.
• Assists in the proper collection and disposal of laboratory waste in accordance with approved procedures and safety requirements.
• Assists in transporting samples, materials, and documents between the laboratory and other departments when required.
• Follows Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), Good Documentation Practices (GDP), and laboratory safety requirements.
• Assists QC Analysts and other laboratory personnel in routine laboratory activities as instructed.
• Performs other duties assigned by the Division Manager or immediate supervisor.

Pay: Php123,456.00 per month

Work Location: In person
