LABORATORY ANALYST

About the role

Superb Catch Inc. is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Laboratory Analyst to join our team in Acacia Malabon City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in ensuring the quality, safety and compliance of our products through rigorous laboratory testing and analysis. As a Laboratory Analyst, you will be responsible for conducting various analytical tests, maintaining accurate records, and providing data that supports our commitment to excellence in the laboratory and technical services sector. This position is integral to our operations and directly contributes to maintaining the highest standards of product quality and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct routine and specialized laboratory tests and analyses using calibrated equipment and established protocols

• Prepare, handle and analyze samples according to standard operating procedures and quality assurance guidelines

• Record, document and maintain detailed and accurate laboratory data, test results and findings

• Perform quality control checks and calibration of laboratory equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability of results

• Follow strict safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized and compliant laboratory environment

• Report findings and communicate results to relevant departments in a clear and timely manner

• Participate in laboratory audits and assist in implementing corrective actions when necessary

• Collaborate with team members and other departments to resolve technical issues and improve laboratory operations

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, Microbiology, or a related scientific discipline
• At least with experience working in a laboratory environment, ideally within quality control, food safety, environmental testing or pharmaceutical sectors
• Strong proficiency in operating and maintaining laboratory equipment
• Solid understanding of analytical techniques, laboratory safety standards and quality assurance principles
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to record data accurately and follow procedures precisely
• Competency in using laboratory information management systems and Microsoft Office applications
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Familiarity with relevant regulatory standards and compliance requirements such as ISO, GMP or similar frameworks
• Good communication skills and the ability to document and present findings clearly
