Laboratory Analyst – Molecular Biology

• Candidate should have 1-2 years of experience in Molecular biology
• Good knowledge of Molecular Biology and Molecular Diagnostics.
• Practical experience in DNA/RNA extraction and PCR/qPCR.
• Understanding of PCR controls, Ct/Cq values and amplification curves.
• Knowledge of sample handling and contamination prevention.
• Good laboratory documentation and record-keeping skills.
• Receive, identify, label, and process veterinary clinical samples such as blood, serum, plasma, swabs, tissues, urine, feces and other clinical specimens.
• DNA/RNA extraction
• PCR
• Real-Time PCR (qPCR)
• Multiplex PCR
• Conventional PCR, wherever applicable
• Handle veterinary infectious disease and pathogen detection panels.
• Prepare samples, reagents, controls, and PCR master mixes according to established SOPs.
• Perform appropriate positive, negative and internal controls for each run.
• Operate and maintain molecular diagnostic instruments and related laboratory equipment.
• Monitor QC results and troubleshoot QC failures, invalid runs, contamination and amplification issues.
• Review amplification curves, Ct/Cq values and control results before releasing test results.
• Maintain accurate worksheets, batch records, run records and laboratory documentation.
• Ensure proper segregation of pre-PCR and post-PCR areas and follow contamination-control procedures.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹23,000.00 per month
