Laboratory & Compounding

About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled and analytical Compounding & Laboratory professional to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and overseeing the entire latex compounding and laboratory functions. You will ensure that raw materials, in-process compounds, and finished latex products consistently exceed international quality standards through rigorous scientific analysis and technical leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and manage daily operations of both the Latex Compounding unit and the Laboratory function.
• Ensure all raw materials, in-process chemical compounds, and finished latex products meet or exceed international quality and company standards.
• Lead rigorous scientific analysis, testing protocols, and troubleshooting for formulation deviations.
• Optimize chemical compounding recipes, maturation times, and stabilizing processes to enhance production efficiency.
• Maintain laboratory equipment calibration, compliance with safety protocols, and quality documentation.
• Provide technical guidance and supervision to technicians and laboratory staff.

About you

• Bachelor's Degree in Polymer Technology, Rubber Technology, Chemical Engineering, or a related science field.
• Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience in latex compounding and laboratory testing processes.
• Proven experience in latex formulation, chemical blending, physical/chemical testing, and quality control within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail and commitment to continuous improvement.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across departments.
• Good command of English, both in speaking and writing for technical reporting and coordination.
• Proven track record of implementing quality improvements and reducing defects in production.
• Familiarity with documentation systems, data analysis and reporting tools.
• Certification in quality management (such as ISO 9001) or relevant laboratory accreditation is advantageous.
