Job Title: Laboratory Assistant

Job Location(s): Moyog Water Treatment Plant, Penampang, Sabah

Job Type: Full Time

Number of openings: 1 Pax

Working Days & Hours: 8.00 am – 5.00 pm

Job Requirements

• Malaysian citizen.
• Minimum qualification: SPM or a Diploma in Science, Biology, Chemistry or a related field.
• Fresh graduates with the above qualifications are welcome to apply.
• Able to communicate effectively in Bahasa Malaysia and basic English
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel for data entry.
• Able to follow instructions and work well in a team.
• Responsible, willing to learn and attentive to detail.
• Possess a valid driving licence.
• Experience working in an accredited laboratory is an advantage.

Job Scope

• Collect and prepare water samples for testing.
• Perform routine laboratory testing according to established procedures.
• Record and report test results accurately.
• Enter data and maintain records using Microsoft Excel.
• Carry out planned preventive maintenance (PPM) on laboratory equipment according to established procedures.
• Support daily laboratory activities as part of a team.
• Assist senior laboratory staff with other tasks as required.
