What they need
Coastal Bioanalysts, located in Gloucester, VA, is currently seeking a Part-Time Lab Assistant/ Culturist to join our team. This position offers 20–35 hours per week, with a standard schedule of Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and Friday (and as needed). The primary responsibilities for this role include the upkeep of freshwater and saltwater cultures, cleaning fish tanks, collecting and harvesting eggs, and managing daily feedings. Once trained on "Culture work", ideal candidate will help experienced Lab Analysts with Whole Effluent Toxicity testing.
Candidate must be detail-oriented, maintains high standards of cleanliness, able to lift 50lbs, and is able to multitask effectively. The starting pay for this position is $14–15 per hour, and full company training will be provided.
