Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry
- Licensed Chemist
- Laboratory experience is an advantage
- Knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025 laboratory standard is an advantage.
Key Responsibilities (Summary):
- Perform chemical analysis of laboratory samples using approved methods.
- Prepare samples and reagents, standards and solutions
- Operate and properly maintain laboratory equipment
- Ensure accurate recording and documentation of test results
- Complete assigned daily workload
- Ensure on-time preventive maintenance (PM) and calibration of assigned equipment
- Ensure reagents are reordered within the established reorder point to prevent testing delays.
- Maintain 100% updated quality controls and charts
- Follow laboratory safety, quality control, and ISO/IEC 17025 requirements
- Participate in training, competency assessment, and continuous improvement activities.
