What they need
Role & responsibilities
Sample Collection & Preparation: Collect and prepare rock phosphate samples from mines, trucks, stockyard, and grinding plant as per SOP.
Chemical Analysis: Perform daily analysis for P2O5, SiO2, CaO, MgO, Fe2O3, Al2O3, CO2, Moisture, LOI and R2O3.Quality Checking: Check rock phosphate quality against buyer specifications and maintain grade-wise quality control.
Lab Equipment Handling: Operate and calibrate lab instruments - XRF, Hot Plate, Muffle Furnace, Oven, Weighing Balance, Sieve Analyzer.
Reporting & Documentation: Maintain daily QC register, log book, and prepare daily / weekly quality reports for management.
Stock & Safety: Maintain lab chemicals, reagents, and ensure lab safety, cleanliness and 5S.
Coordination: Coordinate with Mining, Production, and Dispatch team for quality approval and rejection.
Preferred candidate profile
B.Sc / M.Sc Chemistry, 1-3 Years Exp in Phosphate / Mineral / Fertilizer Lab, Knowledge of wet chemical analysis.
