Laboratory Cleaning Technician

Role Overview: The Laboratory Cleaning Technician is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation within the laboratory environment to ensure compliance with research standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage washroom operations, schedule and execute cleaning tasks, and uphold sanitation protocols
• Clean, sanitize, and organize laboratory equipment, ensuring proper storage
• Maintain accurate records following SOPs and GLPs, identify and report irregularities
• Monitor inventory levels of supplies, equipment, and materials
• Assist with occasional animal care and report welfare concerns

Qualifications & Skills

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Preferred: Experience in cleaning within animal research environments
• Preferred: Reliable work history of at least one year
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
