• As a Laboratory In-Charge, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the laboratory, ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of all laboratory activities
• This role requires strong organizational and leadership skills, along with a deep understanding of laboratory processes and safety protocols

Key Responsibilities:

• Laboratory Operations:Manage and coordinate all activities within the laboratory
• Ensure the availability of necessary equipment, chemicals, and resources for smooth operations
• Team Management:Supervise and lead a team of laboratory technicians and assistants
• Provide guidance, training, and support to laboratory staff
• Quality Control:Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure accurate and reliable test results
• Conduct regular checks on equipment calibration and maintenance
• Safety Compliance:Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and guidelines within the laboratory
• Conduct safety training for laboratory personnel
• Inventory Management:Oversee the inventory of laboratory supplies and chemicals
• Place orders for replenishment and manage stock levels efficiently
• Test Protocols and Procedures:Develop, update, and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) for laboratory tests and procedures
• Keep abreast of advancements in laboratory techniques and technologies
• Data Management:Supervise the recording and management of test data and results
• Implement data security measures to protect confidential information
• Client Interaction:Communicate with internal and external clients to understand testing requirements
• Provide updates on testing progress and results
• Equipment Maintenance:Oversee the maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment
• Coordinate repairs and servicing as needed
• Compliance and Accreditation:Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and accreditation requirements
• Participate in the preparation for audits and inspections
