Laboratory Intern

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist in the receipt, labeling, logging, and storage of water samples.
• Prepare laboratory glassware, reagents, standards, and consumables for analysis.
• Perform routine cleaning and housekeeping of laboratory work areas and equipment.
• Assist in maintaining laboratory records, worksheets, and logbooks.
• Follow laboratory safety protocols, good laboratory practices (GLP), and quality assurance procedures.
• Participate in laboratory environmental monitoring activities as required.

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Chemistry, Microbiology, Biology, Environmental Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
• Preferably requiring internship or practicum as part of academic requirements.
• Basic knowledge of laboratory techniques and safety practices.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Willing to learn and work in both microbiology and physico-chemical laboratory environments.
