Laboratory Manager

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, or a related scientific discipline.
• Must be a Licensed Chemist.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant laboratory experience, with supervisory or managerial exposure.
• Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
• In-depth knowledge of laboratory techniques, analytical methods, and the operation and maintenance of laboratory equipment.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee daily laboratory operations, ensuring compliance with GLP, safety, and quality standards.
• Report directly to Management/CEO and review/sign Certificates of Analysis (COAs) prior to client release.
• Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and integrity of laboratory test results and documentation.
• Lead the development, verification, and validation of analytical methods; review SOPs and QC charts.
• Oversee laboratory safety programs, equipment procurement, staff training, and continuous improvement initiatives.
