Laboratory Manager

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Laboratory Manager to oversee the daily operations of our environmental laboratory, ensure quality standards, supervise laboratory personnel, and manage laboratory testing and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise day-to-day laboratory operations.
• Lead and oversee laboratory analysts and support staff.
• Review laboratory test results and reports.
• Ensure quality control and quality assurance procedures are followed.
• Monitor laboratory equipment maintenance and calibration.
• Maintain laboratory records, documentation, and compliance requirements.
• Coordinate with clients, regulatory agencies, and internal departments.
• Promote laboratory safety and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).

Qualifications

• Licensed Chemist is required.
• At least 5 years of laboratory experience, preferably in an environmental laboratory.
• Supervisory or laboratory management experience is an advantage.
• Knowledgeable in ISO/IEC 17025 and laboratory quality systems.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
