Laboratory Manager - Semiconductor Training Lab

Job Purpose

To manage laboratory operations, equipment readiness, calibration, maintenance, consumables, safety, ESD compliance and practical-session logistics for the training centre.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage laboratory schedules and equipment allocation.

• Maintain asset registers and calibration records.

• Coordinate preventive and corrective equipment maintenance.

• Ensure ESD, safety and housekeeping standards.

• Manage PPE, tools, consumables and spare parts.

• Support trainers during practical sessions.

• Maintain SOPs, checklists and incident records.

• Coordinate service vendors and equipment installation.

• Support procurement and acceptance testing of new instruments.

  Required Skills Experience

• 5 10 years of experience in engineering laboratories, manufacturing, instrumentation, electronics or technical operations .

• Strong knowledge of electrical/electronics instrumentation, ESD, calibration, maintenance and laboratory safety.

• Good understanding of laboratory documentation and equipment management.

• Strong inventory and vendor-management skills.

  Preferred Background

• Engineering laboratories, electronics manufacturing, semiconductor, aerospace, precision manufacturing or testing/calibration facilities.
