Laboratory Operations Manager

X4 Engineering are working with a global analytical testing organization looking for a Laboratory Operations Manager at their lab in Lancaster, PA.

This role will be fully on-site position - significant relocation assistance is on offer for the successful candidate, should they require it.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead daily lab operations and personnel, including performance against KPIs and financial goals
• Ensure continued ISO/IEC 17025 compliance
• Oversee the interviewing, evalutation, and eventual hiring of new lab personnel
• Enforce all QMS documentation including the Quality Manual, SOPs, and applicable test methods

Education & Skills Required:

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific or business-related discipline
• 5+ years' experience of supervisory experience in a laboratory environment
• Expertise with PCR, ELISA, and cultural confirmation of foodborne pathogens including Salmonella, Listeria, and E. coli O157:H7

Compensation & Benefits:

• Base salary: $110,000-$120,000
