Laboratory Supervisor

Healthcare Staffing Professionals has an immediate need for a Laboratory Supervisor/Senior Administrative Analyst. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising a team of laboratory assistants performing environmental specimen pick-up and delivery, provide technical expertise to program management, and administer specialized environmental laboratory program that operates 7 days per week/365 days per year.

The positions will start immediately upon acceptance and employment clearance and are initially funded through 10/29/27, with the good chance of extension.

Pay Rate: $46.78/hr

Location: Full Time in Downey, CA

Job Duties:

• Position is required to supervise a team of laboratory assistants
• Develops work schedule and coordinate staffing for coverage; Plans, organizes, assigns the work of staff
• resolves technical issues with equipment
• develops and writes procedures; coordinates information with various public health programs
• completes quality related reports and documents staff training/competency
• Assignments require the use of discretion and care in handling confidential/sensitive information.

Requirements:

• Clinical or public health laboratory licensure certification with at least 2 years laboratory experience preferably as a lead.
