Laboratory Technician Place of work: Pisz

The Selected Candidate Will Be Responsible For

• Working in a research and development laboratory.
• Performing tests commissioned by an R&D specialist.
• Collecting raw material samples, taking measurements and performing analyses.
• Operating and supervising the laboratory equipment entrusted to you.
• Supervising laboratory samples and raw materials. Keeping a register of samples and raw materials.
• Keeping records of analyses and test results.
• Preparing reports on the research conducted.
• Conducting flammability tests on materials and finished products using control and measurement equipment (cone calorimeter and FTIR spectrophotometer).

Requirements

• Secondary or higher vocational education, e.g. in chemistry, biology, technology or related fields. (Chemistry or wood technology preferred)
• Commitment and motivation to work.
• Analytical thinking skills.
• Communicative English.
• Knowledge of basic laboratory equipment.
• Knowledge of flammability issues would be an advantage.
