Key Responsibilities

• Carry out chemical and microbiological testing to ensure wine quality and compliance.
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, performing calibrations and routine checks.
• Collect and prepare production samples, documenting accurate test results.
• Support in-process quality control checks during bottling and production.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and well-organised laboratory environment.
• Assist the Laboratory Manager with investigations and continuous improvement projects.

Qualifications and Skills

• At least one year of previous experience in a winery or quality assurance laboratory.
• Certificate in Laboratory Skills and/or a relevant Bachelor’s Degree in Science (desirable).
• Strong communication skills to convey information clearly and concisely.
• Ability to identify issues that may hinder task completion and find appropriate solutions.
• Attention to detail and care in performing tasks.
• Strong teamwork abilities and capacity to work well with others.
• Confident work ethic aimed at achieving team goals.
